Dear fellow OASIS members,
If you haven't heard of Project Solstice already, it is a really interesting group of collaborators from a variety of independent schools looking to work together towards climate solutions in schools with real impact. Sounds familiar, right? They are a growing group with some fascinating educators leading the charge.
Notably, they are offering a conference in June at Vermont Academy for people like us. I cannot make it because I'll be dropping my daughter off in New Zealand for a term abroad - I'm bummed I'll be missing the conference (to be clear, I'm not bummed about the New Zealand trip)
-
This is a link to learn about the conference itself. In addition to educators like us, they have an intriguing speaker lineup with the likes of Bill McKibben.
Check it out, and I hope some of you can make it (then share what you all learned with us later).
Only several weeks to go in the school year - may you finish up strong and have lots of opportunities to get outside,
Will
