Directions for 11/2 Fall OASIS meeting at The Lawrenceville School, 6-8 PM

Greetings everyone -

For those of you who have signed up, the OASIS board looks forward to hosting our gathering this Thursday at The Lawrenceville School from 6-8 PM with dinner provided. Please bring a notebook or laptop for taking notes. Directions are tricky, as we have a new entrance on Route 206 with a ring road and lots of construction. Please carefully read the instructions below and give yourself an extra 15 minutes. If you need help, call Liz Cutler at 609-947-7150.

Instructions for getting to parking lot:

• (note turn on Google Maps satellite view for all links below)
• Click here to see the location of the new School entrance on Rt 206 across from Manning Lane
• Turn right off of the new entrance road above to get to parking (right turn not visible in Google Maps - this is a new side road)
• Use this temporary parking area next to the new Tsai Dining Hall

Instructions for getting to dining hall and our dining room:

• Walk from the parking area to the entrance to let people inside the dining hall. 
• Follow signs to the stairwell for the mezzanine/2nd floor of the dining hall
• Once at top of stairwell, follow signs to the 2nd floor private dining room.

This is a reminder that we will have our Nov. 2 fall dinner meeting at The Lawrenceville School from 6-8:30pm. Sam Kosoff will be presenting START, a tool that helps schools benchmark and guide their sustainability progress. A school that has beta-tested this platform will also be present to share the specifics of how it worked at their school. Please see the flyer below.

Thanks, Steve. Our plan is to begin on time at 6pm. In case someone gets lost, I'll have my phone turned on.  When I worked with Sam Kosoff at The Island School, he encouraged me to adopt this phrase: on time is five minutes early! Thanks, Sam, for my new mantra. Look forward to seeing y'all.

I am so disappointed but I am home with my son and both of us are sick so I can no longer attend.  Also due to personal reasons my last day at PJS will be Dec 1st, I know the head of school Silvana Clark wants to see PJS prioritize being a sustainable building and campus so the new person will be joining Oasis in my place, when we know who that is I will connect you!

Just a reminder that detailed directions to our dinner tonight are listed below with Google Maps links. It's a bit tricky with Lawrenceville's new entrance and with construction; give yourselves an extra 15 minutes and arrive by 5:55 so we can start promptly at 6 PM. The entrance to the dining hall that we're using will have the attached sign.
