Hi OASIS members, Nominations for the National Center for Girls Leadership at Stuart (NCGLS) STEM Leadership Summer Program are now open! In partnership with Princeton University and the Watershed Institute, this program is designed to empower young women to build a more sustainable future.
The STEM Leadership Program will run from August 3 - 21, 2026, welcoming up to 40 students currently in grades 5-8 from local districts. The program targets students with demonstrated interest and skills in leadership, STEM, and sustainability, prioritizing those from schools with high percentages of low-income families. Students accepted into the program will receive full financial support, including meals and transportation.
Please share with educators in your network or nominate students at the link below: stuartschool.org/summerSTEM
I've also attached our flyer and introductory letter with more details. Thank you in advance for helping us get the word out and empower the next generation of women in STEM!
Reach out with any questions, Kate O'Brian
