Job description

Position: Quality Assurance Analyst Qualifications 

 Location: San Diego CA

Qualities / Experience

·         4-5 years QA experience (system, integration, functional, and regression testing).

·         Solid understanding of development lifecycle.

·         Experience reviewing requirement documents to ensure that requirements are achieved.

·         Validate that user expectations are achieved during the testing process.

·         Experience; testing a variety of different types of software products, system architectures, OS platforms, and browsers.

·         Excellent communications skills, problem solver, troubleshooting.

·         Ability to work independently and within a group.

·         Well-organized, self-motivated with a high level of attention to detail.

 

 

Required Skills and Abilities

·         Must have 5 years QA experience.

·         Must have experience testing web-based applications.

·         Must be extremely detail-oriented with respect to documentation and communication.

·         Ability to multi-task, maintain quality while meeting or exceeding deadlines.

·         Must have the flexibility to adapt to change rapidly.

·         Proven analytical and problem solving skills.

·         Experience on an enterprise-wide application with many modules of functionality.

·         Knowledgeable on all aspect of the software development life cycle.

·         Experience with defect tracking software, such as Jira.

·         Experience with Agile software development process.

·        Jive experience preferred.

·         Experience with test case management software, such as Zephyr

·         Automated test experience a must, using Selenium Webdriver

·         Experience with tools such as GIT, BitBucket and Bamboo.

·          Solid experience in debugging, using Eclipse or other IDE tools.

·          Decent understanding of Java Programing language.

·         Experience with back end testing, comfortable running back end tests in a test runner (SOAP/MULE)

·         SQL Query experience - comfortable running/generating queries

·         Experience reading and understanding JSON formatted results

·         Experience working with Behavior Driven Development (BDD) process "
