Job Description
Our client is a leading American Corporation. Their Technology Center in San Ramon is making news on a daily basis with their innovative solutions. They are looking for a QA Engineer (automated and manual) for a new business segment. This is a huge opportunity for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
•    Take a lead role in the reliability, and security mission for our products.
•    Design, develop, maintain, and execute test cases for product requirements that are scalable, repeatable and measurable.
•    Expertise in designing, coordinating and executing benchmark/performance tests
•    Create scenarios for executing various tests such as load, reliability, scalability, stress and robustness testing
•    Develop and execute project tasks and plans that meet time lines and release requirements
•    Review product documentation and write test cases
•    Configure test environments, servers, monitor performance tests and identify application bottlenecks
•    Reproducing and troubleshooting the bug with developer.
•    Take ownership of defects found during performance testing and provide information to developers including driving follow-up actions when necessary

Requirements
•    7+ years test experience (Intermediate to Sr. Level only)
•    Write Test Plans, Test Cases, Manual and Automated tests, write reports
•    Automation testing experience - must be able to code to create autometed tests
•    Keen attention to details and strong analytical, problem solving, troubleshooting, and prioritization skills
•    Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies
•    Testing experience of Web Applications including multiple users, apps that can be scaled for clouds
•    Selenium Web Driver, Automation experience
•    Java script, Java, Python, Ruby, Shell
•    Hands-on experience configuring test environments, Linux servers, monitor performance tests and identify application bottlenecks
•    Past experience automating test case
•    Very familiar with Unix/Linux command-line environment
•    Ability to write clear and reproducible reports and test results
•    Experience with test case management tools and issue tracking software (e.g. JIRA)
•    Able to read and understand at least one higher level language, e.g. C/C++, Java
•    Experience working with hardware and writing Manufacturing Tests.
•    Understand software principles such as multi-threading, memory management, caching, garbage collection
•    Knowledge of web technology: Apache Server, Tomcat, JSON, JavaScript
•    Familiar with database technologies and SQL syntax
•    Experience in Cucumber, NodeJS
•    Middleware JUnit, TestNG
•    Experience with Agile software testing methodology
•    Able to communicate effectively, both verbal and written
