The video is worth a watch and the technology seems sound.
The biggest issue i see with this system:
- is the need for some ground control
- the cost of the system does not include the software required to
process the imagery (according to their brochures) so the formation of
the contour model is not possible with the purchase of this system
alone.
I have been investigating this system for it's merit for volume
calculation surveys for work, but it certainly does have merit for
orienteering mapping, the biggest question is the $$$$.
Look forward to seeing the system at the demonstration.

watching the video: 1) High cost once you add all the bits together.
May be worthwhile for a surveying company to consider however. 2)
Flight time does not seem very long (I presume it is a glider)..in
some of our forested areas I was picturing some rather nasty crash
landings!! mmm Now lets see who would insure us??
