Would anyone be willing to tell me the command line command used to display a unix computers IP address in an older version of SCO unix?

I have tried "ifconfig" but that command is not recognized. I have also tried netstat -ni, but it dosen't tell me what I want to know either.

Thanks

Its possible the command is ifconfig, but its not in your path.

I'd try something like this to determine if ifconfig exists.  First, try

'/sbin/ifconfig'

If not that, try

find / -name "if*" -ls

Maybe that will help you find the component that manages network interfaces.

Cheers,

If that doesn't work, please let us know. I bet we could find some resources on their website or something. That, or we could pretend to be Bill Gates and call the CEO of Sco and ask. ;) (You have to believe in the conspiracy to get that).
