Hello!
This is a reminder that this Thursday (June 5th) at 7pm we will be having our regular Oakland Wiki meeting out of Sudo Room hackerspace (2141 Broadway, entrance on 22nd). Let's work on articles and talk about the upcoming research/editing party at the Prelinger Library!
Rick and Megan Prelinger kindly offered to share with us their amazing collection of rare Bay Area land development, city planning, housing and migration history texts and ephemera. This event will be akin to our Oakland History Room days, where we'd access primary maps, neighborhood documents and other treasures and translate them into digital space. We will be finalizing the date in the next couple of days.
