Hey Poetry Fans,

It's crunch time! Seriously, we still have a way to go to meet our
fundraising goal and we could really (REALLY) use your HELP! You know
it takes a lot of money to get the team from Oakland to Boston to rep
YOU at the National Poetry Slam. As they say though - many hands makes
for light work. This years team may very well be the best, hardest
working most well rounded one that The Oakland Poetry Slam has ever
fielded. They've produced some absolutely heartrending, tear inducing
(and alternatively belly-laugh bringing) work. If you haven't seen
them live in action, you are definitely missing out. You can see some
of the solo work right now on our FaceBook and YouTube pages, the
multivoice pieces will be posted after Nationals.

If you're in any position to help us cover travel and lodging costs,
we could absolutely use it! Every little bit gets us that much closer
to our goal. If you just want to help for the good feeling you get
