December 18th building new features!

[Oakland Pump Track Volunteers]

Hello all, 

on Saturday we will Start work on new features at the pumptrack. Hand tools and the soil compactor will be provided. We will need volunteers to bring Wheelbarrow's! No heavy equipment will be used, just elbow grease.

We are going to have 200 yards of dirt delivered! That dirt needs to be sculpted into new features:

1. Oval track - 2 180 berms and even size and spaced rollers connecting them - great for kids, beginners and  still fun for mastering advanced skills.
2. Table top line -Safe, Fun, Rollable, and Jumpable for everyone.
3. Starting platforms - Elevated dirt platforms to allow for a roll in start instead of pedalling in.
4. Back Bowl There is a huge space at the west end of the track This needs to be cleared out and sculpted  into a loop that will nearly double the size of the track!
