Hi runners,

Sorry I missed sending out a route last week. I was out of the country and not really sure which day was which (in Mexico time means something different than here).

Bill devised a new route. He’ll bring printouts…

From One Step:

Oakview to Ansley

Up Ansley to S. McDonough

Cross S. McDonough into Agnes Scott 0.73 miles

Exit Agnes Scott through the arches on College and cross under the tracks to the path on Howard 1 mile

Follow path to Rockyford

Left on Rockyford 2.5 miles

Left on College

Right on Murray Hill 2.8 miles; this dead ends at Sisson after a left curve

Right on Sisson 3.4 miles (dead ends at Ridgedale)

Left on Ridgedale 3.6 miles and up the hill to Oakview

Left on Oakview 3.7 miles

Right on Spring 4.2 miles; cross over Eastlake to McCoy

Left on McCoy 4.5 miles; cross over Hill and down to Benson

Left on Benson 4.8 miles

Left on Oakview to One Step 5.1 miles

Great new running route guys!  Let's definitely keep it in rotation for winter runs.  I might also encourage everyone to start wearing your blinkies, headlamps and/or reflective gear, as it's pretty darn dark by the end of our runs.  

Another sidenote- the brand new track at Drew Charter Senior Academy off Memorial Dr.(by the YMCA) is currently open to the public before/after school hours and it's quite fabulous.  Nice new squishy track surface.  I encourage you to visit.
