FYI, the county, and the OSU Extension Service operate a set of
Citizen's Participation Organizations covering Washington County.
According to this map, Oak Hills is in CPO7
According to the CPO web site, a CPO is "[...] a place where you can
discuss issues in a comfortable forum; meet neighbors who are
interested in the community; get unbiased information; and find
neighbors who will listen to your concerns and work with you to find
solutions."
Issues relating to land use and transportation are often announced in
the CPO newsletter. The CPO7 newsletter archive is here. As an
example, the widening of Bethany Blvd. adjacent to Oak Hills to five
lanes is mentioned in the September 2005 newsletter.
