Dear Oakblokes

Graham and I were talking a few days ago. It must be close to 7 or 8 years since the famous show. My kid Finian is now 10 and getting ready for secondary school!

First, it would be nice to see you all again!

Second, here is an option. I’m organising a demonstration next Tuesday 27 March 8am at Forsythia House (corner of Pendrell and Wallbutton). ITV news will be there. It might be a nice 30 minute activity to motivate that latent political consciousness inside your kid. The issue is that Vodaphone and O2 have used an arms-length subsidiary to install an illegal mast without asking anyone’s permission, and this mast is blasting unhealthy levels of radiation into houses where growing children live. Corporate abuse. Council incompetence. Environmental health. Abuse of Council tenants. It has been underhanded - and it is here in our own neighbourhood. And it is happening up and down the country.

It would mean showing up for work a few minutes late, but you get a chance to do something a little safe and political with your children.

This isn’t the same as going to the pub, but its a pretty fundamental issue. Please come. Anyone up for it?

Sean

Hi Sean, Hi everyone

I hope your demo went well this morning. I still had the school run on this morning so couldn't join you.

As for a reunion, and now that the Telegraph Festival is safely past and a very long way off, can I take up your great idea of a meet up for a pint and a catch up. Not bothered about where as I am sure others can advise on the best pubs - but Telegraph Pub seems quiet enough to cope with us. Shall we say 7.30pm onwards

I've set up a doodlepoll here https://doodle.com/poll/cwshwndushkfzfnc

Look forward to seeing if we can get something going.

Martyn

Dear all

I've updated the doodlepoll with some more dates into June as the take up for April/May was not huge, and there wasnt a day when all 5 signed up protagonists could all come.

Lets have another go.

Chaps,

I can most likely slip in a Sunday evening beer (if anyone else can)? I can even bring my own banana.

Best,

It's going to be a small reunion without you, in many ways.  22nd looking best, but not great.

Sorry I’m so late with this, but I can do next Sunday if it’s still on? We can rock up to Iain’s after the pub for a whiskey nightcap... (only joking, mate!)
