1 Recording the event in pictures or video might be fun. Is there
enough money to pay someone to do this?
2 Digital would be great because that way someone could edit the thing
and maybe put it up on the web. I've done some digital editing and
could certainly put together a page. We just need to figure out a
cheap place to host the stuff. Any ideas? Everyone assures me that
such places exist but I've never had the need to search before.
3 In the publicity for the reunion, could we mention this group as a
way to get more people involved and more easily disseminate
information?
4 Is there any chance that we could especially invite Burton Dicus.
I've not kept in touch with him for about ten years but through the
magic of Google I know that he is on the board of directors of the
Marion philharmonic. I still think he is one of the best educators it
has ever been my fortune to come in contact with. Actually I think our
alma mater was graced with an extraordinary number of good teachers for
such a small school.
OK, that is my quota of seriousness for the decade.
Hope the price of gas hasn't got you all down. I'm getting my bike out
tomorrow. The children will simply have to run places. When I was
their age...we drove everywhere.
Gas is only $2.39 a gallon for the 87 octane. Why should that be
depressing other than the fact that cigarettes are cheaper than
gasoline. I guess that gives new meaning to the old addage that I 'd
walk a mile for a camel!!!!
