Speaking of King Tut, Mary, Alex, and I have tickets to see the new King Tut Exhibit on July 11 at the LA County Museum of Art.  We're very much looking forward to it.

 

I saw the first travelling King Tut exhibit when it was in Chicago in the mid to late 70's.  It travelled to Los Angeles, but Mary missed it.  It was amazing to see all of that, and from what I understand, there's supposed to be more to see with this 2nd travelling show.

 

I haven't heard when or if it will be in the Midwest, but I'd expect it to be back in Chicago.  It was HUGE when it was there before.  I don't expect you to fly out here to see the King Tut artifacts.  But if you have the opportunity to see it in Chicago or someplace fairly close like that, please do.
