I am happy to inform you all that the 'Open Access India' is nominated for 'WSIS Prizes 2022'

Congratulations to all of us! 

The mail says, "Out of 1,000 submitted projects, 360 (twenty in each of the eighteen WSIS Action Line Categories) were nominated for the ongoing online voting phase www.wsis.org/prizes"


It is nominated in the AL. C3. Access to Information and Knowledge.

Voting is Open. Please vote and share the same with all your colleagues and friends so that higher votes are polled for our project with hashtag  #WSIS

Dear WSIS Prizes 2022 Nominee,

 

We are pleased to inform you that your project has been nominated for the WSIS Prizes 2022 – congratulations!

Out of 1,000 submitted projects, 360 (twenty in each of the eighteen WSIS Action Line Categories) were nominated for the ongoing online voting phase www.wsis.org/prizes

We invite you to share your success with your networks and communities, plan and run promotion campaigns and invite all to cast their votes for their favorite projects. The deadline for casting votes is 31 March 2022, when we will enter the Selection Phase in which the 90 WSIS Prizes 2022 Champions will be announced and celebrated.

The Winners will be selected among the first five most voted projects and announced during the special WSIS Prizes 2022 Ceremony, which will be held during the final week of the WSIS Forum 2022.

We kindly encourage you to always use #WSIS when promoting your project in the social media, and to use the WSIS related logos, photos, and infographics. Also, please visit, share, like, use messages and material from the official WSIS Process social media channels:

Please find attached some supporting promotional material for your consideration and use. We will be sharing with you more material and other useful information soon.

In addition to the WSIS Prizes 2022, we are pleased to continue in promoting good ICT practices that are advancing Sustainable Development Goals and WSIS Action Lines. We would like to invite you to submit your ICT projects for the second edition of the WSIS Forum Healthy Ageing Innovation Prize  by 1 April 2022. Finalists will get 250 $ and the grand winner will be awarded $1000.                                                                                                                                            

 

We are looking forward to celebrating the good use of ICTs together and we would like to invite you to promote your achievement amongst your network.
