Hello everyone,

I am reaching out as part of my Master’s research in Cybersecurity Engineering. My thesis focuses on identifying vulnerabilities in the OAI-PMH protocol, conducting risk assessments, and developing strategies and technical solutions for mitigating these vulnerabilities. This research aims to establish and test best practices for the secure implementation and usage of OAI-PMH in controlled environments.

The central question driving my study is:

“How can vulnerabilities in the OAI-PMH protocol be mitigated?”

For my study, I am looking to interview OAI-PMH implementers, including data providers and service providers. If you have experience with OAI-PMH and would be open to discussing your insights, I would greatly appreciate your participation.

Interviews will be summarized in a report, and a transcript will be shared with you for approval before finalization. The interview is expected to take 45 minutes and can be conducted via Teams or any other preferred tool.
