Update OAI-PMH registration IDB

Could you please update these registrations?

 

 

 

The English (en) is correct, but the French (fr) should be: https://publications.iadb.org/fr/oai/request   The Portuguese should be: https://publications.iadb.org/pt/oai/request and we still have to register the Spanish (es): https://publications.iadb.org/es/oai/request

 

Is there a way I can update myself so I can also add additional information like description? https://www.openarchives.org/service/registerasprovider.html

Hi Ranieli,

I have deleted the entries for the old (fr) and (pt) sites that no longer exist.

Please feel free to register the the new es/fr/pt sites at https://www.openarchives.org/Register/ValidateSite

You can re-register any site to update the information but that doesn't work if the base URL changes (hence the need for manual deletion).

The page https://www.openarchives.org/service/registerasprovider.html is about "service providers" whereas your repositories are "data providers" in the OAI-PMH model.

Thank you so much for the answer and for clarifying. 

When trying to register, I am getting an error during the validation. We think that this might be somehow related to our systems. Can you please let us know what are the user agents from OAI-PMH so we can verify on our end? Thank you.

The requests should have the user agent "OAIPMH_Validator" but I note that if your server accepts only specific user agents then nobody can harvest from you without you adding the user agent.
