Tools for drawing graphs

I'm looking for tools to draw graphs such as the ones used in the OAI
ORE documentation:

Does anyone know which tool was used to create these figures and if
perhaps a template is available with these shapes?

I need to write some documents and presentations, it would be nice if
I could use the same graph styles.

Those images were drawn with OmniGraffle from OmniGroup.

It runs on Mac.
