Just joined OA a week ago and looking to get into some long distance
riding on the weekends. Maybe keep it under 50 mi the first few times
out with a little climbing as I've just been a flat lander for the
last year commuting back and forth to work. Someone in the South Bay
of Peninsula area would be ideal but I could get up to SF now and then
also. Have yet to place my order for the OA jersey and shorts but
plan on doing so soon!!

Hey!
Great to hear from you. You've joined the right team, as we ride constantly which I think will please you. Unfortunately we only head south a couple of times a month for the kings mountain or Pestc. ride. We will surely contact you for those rides. However if you are willing to meet in SF we ride about 4 times a week. From 50 miles to 100 on any given ride.
Lets be in contact.

thanks

Zach!

Hey Zach!

Sounds good.  Yes please let me know when you plan on going on those rides on the south end.  Of course, like I mentioned I'm down with meeting in SF also, just depends on what things I may have lined up for that particular day/weekend.

Hey zach, et al;

I ride in Marin and have seen a group of you often. So if possible, keep me in the loop. My rides manly go north from Mill Valley. But, heading south would be a good change of venue for sure.

Anyone up for a couple hours on Saturday morning?  I live in the East Bay (Richmond area) but I'm also happy to drop over to Marin or wherever.  Nothing super long, maybe 2 or 3 hours.  I am just getting back on the bicycle after a couple of months of very limited cycling due to neck injury.  There's a lot of ground to cover fitness-wise but I want to get back in racing shape before the end of the season, and it's so much easier with company.

I leave for Sea Otter Saturday, early afternoon, 1ish! After my race, the following week and weekend works. I am happy to pedal along with you on a recovery ride. I work over in Oakland so it's easy for me to meet over there.

Emily:

I’d be game for an easy ride around Marin – Paradise loop or similar.   I am nursing patellar tendonitis at the moment, so I cant do long hilly rides.   And, I am a bit slow, but average around 14mph.   I generally do the loop starting around 8am, but I could start earlier or later.   We could meet at Mill Valley Comm Center, or my house which is 4 blocks from there, or wherever….

Of course, I am still waiting to hear from other OA folks who are planning rides this weekend, and we both might want to join them if the right ride happens tomorrow.

If interested in doing the Par loop, you can email me at dou...@jps.net to sort out the details.

Hello all!

Lets do a paradise loop tomorrow and Sunday. Lets plan on the
following: leaving Baker and Fell (panhandle) at 9am. Getting over to
the end of the bike path hopefully by 10 (Does anyone know the name of
the intersection, right where you turn onto Camino Alto?), and meet up
with any riders coming from the north. That leaves Emily, who is
coming from Oakland. Would you want to meet in SF or in Marin?
Hopefully this is not too late of a notice for everyone.

Hope to see some of you this weekend!

Sorry for another email, but to clarify the meet up point in the north
would be the intersection of Camino Alto and Blithedale Ave and Lomita
Dr. The bike path lets out onto Blithedale, which is in between Camino
Alto and Lomita.

Alright,

Noah

Noah et al:

I'll plan on joining you all tomorrow at 10. I assume you mean to meet up
on the South Side of E Blithedale where the bike path ends and you hit the
button and wait for the light. I may cruise the bike path towards Sausalito
at 9:45 looking for you all headed North. And, if I can't keep up with you
all ( I don’t do the paceline thing..) - no worries. I know my way home.

See ya there,
Doug

Neat, have fun! I am riding a bit earlier in the East Bay.
Sorry about the last minute semi-plan and cancellation.
I will try again another time!
