On behalf of the President of the Max Planck Society, Prof. Dr. Peter Gruss, I would like to thank you very much for supporting the Berlin Declaration.
It is a great pleasure to add you as National and University Librarian of the National and University Library of Iceland (Landsbókasafn Íslands – Háskólabókasafn) to the list of signatories. The inscription is effective immediately and the list can be found here:

As you might know, the "Berlin process" is still going on. The signatories agreed to arrange follow up conferences. The next one is scheduled for November 06-08, 2012 in Stellenbosch, South Africa.
