Greetings Everyone:

Over the past few weeks, this group has surfaced and rated a number of different roles at publishing platforms and services that have an interest in OA eBook usage data. The results of your ratings are included at the end of this email. Now, we can take the next step and consider what the unique needs are for each of these roles.

By August 18th, please add to the following persona boards short descriptions of each persona's specific uses of OA monograph usage data. We can reword and group ideas later.

In 5-6 minutes per persona board, what can you contribute on a role's:
  1. Current uses of OA book usage data | What is done today? (On the left of the screen.)
  2. Future uses of OA book usage data | What would be great to have? (On the right.)
Click the +, type your idea, and hit Enter to submit it and add another.

You will be able to see everyone's anonymous contributions, so please take a moment to review what's there before you get started. You can also comment on existing ideas if that is easier. Feel free to forward this email on to staff in these roles so they can contribute to this crowd-sourcing directly.
Thank you for working with us on this virtual functional requirements gathering exercise!  After this step, we will shift into thinking about the specific data products, queries and reports tied to these needs.

As always, if you have peers you'd like to invite to this Google Group, please send them my way or direct them to https://educopia.org/data_trust/

Best regards,

Christina
