Author identifiers and GDPR

Greetings all,

Have any of you put processes in place per GDPR to steward ORCIDs or author name processing or data transfers?  If so, were there resources you found useful when doing so?

For reference, I've been thinking through this blog post from the IAPP on publicly available personal information under the GDPR and find myself wondering about the third party uses of my public ORCID profile components.  

Can you share any lessons you've learned when managing these data types?
