Greetings Everyone:

I hope you are enjoying the change of seasons and are doing well.  Since you have last heard from me, our OAeBU project has been quite busy working with our Policy WG to identify principles and frameworks to inform the data trust, and working with university presses to develop their data trust use-cases.

As publishing platforms and services, over the past few months you identified staff roles (personas) in your organizations that work with OA usage data, to then identify how these positions use OA book usage data over August. We are now able to reflect upon what has surfaced to date, to further define the data trust use case for publishing platforms and services.

To propel the conversation forward, I invite you to join me for an hour-long discussion to build out the use-case boards by clarifying the activities that rely on usage data and thinking through related reports, data, or other outputs you'd like to see a data trust provide.

To facilitate calendaring and zoom meeting info distribution, please register through Eventbrite for a discussion time you can attend:
Should we have fewer than two individuals registered for any one time, I will cancel that discussion and notify those who have registered. Recognizing this is short notice and many of us are attending OASPA this week, there is a good chance we'll have additional meeting options in October. For now, I wanted to see if these dates might work.

Thank you all for your contributions to this effort! I look forward to meeting with you virtually in the near future.

Best regards,
Christina
