IE users warned to disable JavaScript

Not that this is credable, but it definetly throws up concerns.
 
My first thought was "Microsoft wages war on Google"
 
If enough people are scared into turning off javascript, what is the future of O3D?

Casteel, you shouldn't be worried all that much about security issues in IE6 and IE7 impacting O3D today. Switching off javascript would cause quite a large impact on existing web properties given the amount of Ajax code out there and I am sure if the flaw is serious Microsoft will release a fix very soon. As for enough people being scared into turning off javascript is quite unlikely since fixing the issue in IE is definitely going to be cheaper than porting all those websites to use something other than javascript. So in the meantime, relax and keep coding O3D, make that cool and killer O3D widget and you could help make sure your fears don't meterialize :-)
