Hi there,

Last post for the year :)

Wondering what is the best way of specifying CSS stylesheet for Internet Explorer.

Im finding spacing around select boxes is much more than spacing in Firefox and want to have a special stylesheet to run when running Internet Explorer.

Ideally would be good if could add the special CSS styles within the same stylesheet but if not possible ok.

Thanks for your advice.

Cheers
Brendan.

Either try not to worry to much about minor spacing issues (you're
also going to get them cross platform even using the same browser and
version), or try using a reset to get rid of padding or margins around
various elements. Having said that...

Use the various browser targeting hacks

or IE's conditional tags to server up a separate stylesheet

Cheers,
Chris

Use conditional comment.

It is possible to use hacks in the same css file (just google 'ie css hacks') but I think that's messy way of doing it.
