Whilst it's traditional to have free T-shirts for attendees there's
nothing that says we should - in fact some have expressed a deep inner
desire NOT to have T-shirts.

Other options have been stickers (for laptops) or just plain nothing
and save the sponsorship money for something more worthwhile (beer,
food, costs of future related barcamps, costs of running open data
projects ...)

So, are we having them, do you want them - leave a post/reply with:
* YES
* Don't Care
* NO (in that case what else?)

Put me in the NO category, and save the money for something more
worthwhile - cost of future bar camps, web hosting, open data projects
etc. If people want stickers and t-shirts, then they can pay for them
and a little profit could contribute to future activities :)

Cheers Gav

Save people flooding with yes/no emails, I'm setting up a survey. Will post the URL soon.

in the "no" >> "other" response I have punted up the idea of using $s
for an open data workshop (supported hackfest for senior secondary
students)

if that idea rocks your boat feel free to respond similarly
or explore it on the 29th

Can I make an "eleventh hour" bid for the org group to consider the
'bring your own t-shirt' option (which I proposed earlier) with iron-
on transfers available at the bar camp. Reuse in action. If people
want to buy onsite then just charge for cost of transfer and ink. Or
encourage people to put it together at home before hand - which would
allow them to remix if they want. Could have prize for most creative
remix.

I am happy to provide the iron, ironing board and cloths to cover the
transfers.

Consider it raised for consideration. ;-)

I have just uploaded a 6 x 4 format of the logo - for those wanting to
use the smaller t-shirt transfers. Would also print well as a post
card. There is a .png version in the files and a zipped folder for
downloading with the original .svg (done in InkScape) and .bmp
and ,jpg versions.
