Purpose
To build a national campaign to oppose the TPP agreement, with an
emphasis on creating a just and sustainable alternative to the neo-
liberal agenda.
Outcome
1. The consolidation of a national network to oppose the TPPA.
2. The development and issuing of ‘The Christchurch Declaration’ (a
response to the official US/NZ Wellington Declaration of November
2010), setting out an alternative vision and agenda for a more
socially just and ecologically sustainable economic relationship
between New Zealand and the USA.
