Greetings to all paddlers,
As per the attached, the NZDBA Board invites all affiliated members to our Annual General Meeting on Saturday 26th of August 2017 Airways NZ, 26 Sir William Pickering Drive, Russley, Christchurch at 10:30 am.
In general the meeting follows this format:
1. Confirmation of Previous Minutes.
2. Board of Management reports on activities over the last year, including the priorities and directions for the coming year
3. Election of Officers to BOM
4. Financial reporting from the Board Treasurer
5. Motions to be Considered (please email these ASAP, so that they can be circulated to others before the meeting)
6. General Business
Given that we will have natural retirements from the NZDBA Board, we invite nominations to fill those vacancies. You will need to provide written consent of each nominee, sent to NZDBA Secretary (Heather Bisset) at secr...@nzdba.co.nz by 12th of August 2017. Remember that nominations are made for board membership only, not for specific roles on the board. The board roles themselves are voted on and assigned by the NZDBA Board at their earliest next board meeting.
