Notice of Annual General Meeting for New Zealand Dragonboat Association (Saturday 9/08/14)

Greetings fellow NZ Dragonboaters,
In accordance with the NZ Dragonboat Association's (NZDBA) constitution the Board hereby notifies that we will be holding our Annual General Meeting on Saturday the 9th of August, 2014 at the Fanshawe Street offices of Air NZ starting at 2:00PM.
The meeting is open to all affilliated members of the NZDBA to attend.
A more detailed agenda will be circulated in due course however in general the meeting follows the format per below:
1. Confirmation of Previous Minutes.
2. The tabling of Annual reports of activities from the various board portfolios.
3. Financial reporting
4. Nominations from affiliated members for new board members. Each year 4 of the board member positions terminate to be either filled by new nominees or the exiting board members may choose to stand again for board positions. To that end "Written nominations for nominees under Rule 13.3 of the NZDBA constitution, accompanied by the written consent of each nominee, shall be sent to and received by the Secretary not less than fourteen (14) clear days before the date of the Annual General Meeting".
These written nominations should therefore be emailed to the NZDBA Secretary <mailto:secre...@nzdba.co.nz>
