Hi folks,
well things are getting busy now as we count down to the climax event of the New Zealand Dragon Boat calendar.
Many teams are still recovering from the beautiful weather at Lake Pupuke and Lake Hood that we were blessed with last weekend for the Auckland Regionals and the South Island Champs.
So here we have attached a layout plan to help you get orientated when you arrive at "The Hood".  Remember we have a very early start, with 8:30 for the first Race and 44 Races to get through.

We are fine tuning the Race Draw at the moment, but in essence it will look like this:

Race briefing at the Caravan at 8am
Round 1 - seven heats in the 200m Sprints, starting at 08:30
Round 2 - second heats in the 200m Sprints, starting about 09:42 (BOTH times count to seeding)
Round 3 - 200m Sprint Finals, starting at 10:57
Round 4 - heats in the 500m, starting at 12:24
Round 5 - second heats in the 500m, starting about 13:51 (again, BOTH times count to seeding)
Round 6 - 500m Finals, starting at 15:18
Round 7 - The fantastic 2,000m Turns Races, starting at 17:09.  Three Flights, finishing slightly after 6pm.
Whew!  Looking forward to it...
