Fellow Dragon Boaters,

The NZDBA will hold its AGM on Saturday 17th August at 10am, at the Air New Zealand offices at 185 Fanshawe St, Auckland.  


The AGM includes election of the Board of Management.

As per article 15 of our Constitution, half of the positions "terminate" on odd years (ie 2011, 2013 etc) so this time it is:

·         Secretary

·         Treasurer

·         Equipment Director

·         Junior Development Director

·         Events Director


All can stand for re election to the board (although positions on the board could be altered).

So there are 5 places on the board up for grabs.

 

(a)  Written nominations for nominees under Rule 13.2, accompanied by the written consent of each nominee, shall be received by the Secretary not less than fourteen (14) clear days before the date of the Annual General Meeting.

 

I will send out a detailed agenda next week and then I will email any remit, details of nominees and voting papers on 07 August.

Further to the below email, please find attached the AGM agenda. 
 
We have received no written nominations for board hence I can not attach any voting papers, but we will take nominations from the floor at the AGM itself.
 
We look forward to welcoming any attendees this coming Saturday at the Air New Zealand building, 185 Fanshawe St, Auckland at 10am.
