I would like to invite those of you based in or around Christchurch to join us on the 15th November 2011 to discuss the structure and approach that the NZ Cloud computing code of practice should take.

This meeting will be the first in a series of 3 meetings being held in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch in the next few weeks ( don’t panic - invitations for interest in these other locations will be called for soon) , and this is your chance to get in behind the very important first steps of the creation of NZ’s very own code of practice.  The discussions will be limited to the structure that the group thinks the code should adopt, and the approach it should take.  We will be conducting further rounds of discussions regarding the content and specific areas of the content that the code should hold.

The venue and timing of the meeting will be confirmed once we have a good idea of how many of you are willing to participate, if need be we will hold more than one meeting in Christchurch, we anticipate that the meetings could last for a few hours depending on participant numbers.

Please email your interest to participate to Brittany Hoare ( Brit...@nzcs.org.nz) and indicate what part  of the  day would best suit you, ie Morning or Afternoon – please do this before 5pm this Friday 11th November.

I’m looking forward to meeting those of you who can make it in Christchurch on the 15th and kicking off discussions.

Kind Regards

Joy Cottle
