Hi!

I absolutely love nzbperl, but was wondering if there was an easy way
to implement a 'pause queue' to the program. Or, better yet, allow
you to start download nzb's at 10:00, stop at 8:00am, then start again
at 10:00pm.

Thanks!

For a pause you could try setting the min speed for the 1 key to 0kbps

Another work around would be to have cron either poke the remote control
port and force a quit or just kill the process and start it back up at
the normal time...although neither is terribly clean.

That an interesting idea that might actually work. However, if I
force a quit, I find that it doesn't save the queue...so if I start it
back up, it starts redownloading everything again.

What about a little of both?  Use Cron to fire a script that connects to rcport and set the speed to 1 (which would be 0kbps) then when you want to resume have it connect and set the speed back to 3.

True, but by default it should start skipping over files that it already
has (but it does have to grab the first part of the file to tell what
the filename is to even make the determination).

I'm just trying to provide a workaround in the meantime. This feature
has been asked for before...just hasn't made it into any versions yet.

It does...at least mine does. You might have to issue a 'q' vice
killing the process to get the resume you are looking for.
