Can anyone recommend someone who can help us identify what's in our
(recently-acquired) garden, and also suggest ideas/create a design for
improving it? InitialIy I guess we really need a plan of what plants we
already have and tips on how to take care of them, as we're both novice
gardeners.

I have found Nikau Palmatum very good - ask for a guy called Steve who
is the owner/operator.
