The USA Government recently gave a 500,000,000.00 dollar grant to a
company to develop a car that runs on water. (not needing hydrogen
stations) It was on FOX and Friends, as a very quick mention, about
May 13, 2006.
For 40 years the IMF and WBO ignored Daniel Dingle the
Filipino inventor that found a way to convert cars to run on water.
(not even needing hydrogen stations)

In production now, an engine capable of propelling a car up to 110
Km/h, that can cover a distance of 300 km with one compressed air tank
refill at a cost of 50 cents.
Not only providing "zero pollution" but also purifying the air ...

What's the chances of survival in that thing compared to a Holden Commodore
side swiping a Mack truck and finally hitting a tree at a speed of 100kph?
A good name for your air car would be The Coffin - as that's what it would
be a coffin on wheels. Each buyer of an air car gets a free headstone with
the thing.

Well, if we all had one of them Air Cars, we would all drive a bit
slower, we would all have a nice day, and be nice to each other, and
still get from A - B in a good fashion, and .... yes ..... you guessed
it ...... no pollution, will lot's of clean air, and no big gasoline
bills each week. Wow, is this a glimpse of Heaven ?!! :)
Perfection is so easy.
Besides that, we are going to get the Water Car too.
You can put your tank turrets on that if you want and go and fight a
gawd darn war somewhere !! LOL :)

Until the local GOV puts a large road user tax on it to make it the
same cost as gasoline or diesel..

There will be a place for small and efficient vehicles, but to be restricted
to only being able to use little coffins on wheels would be a step
backwards. A couple more steps and we'll all be getting round on horse
drawn carts running on next to nothing.
And you plan to dodge round larger trucks than ever that often travel at
speeds up to 120KPH.
Looks like the US Government has been conned out of $500,000,000 - hardly
very surprising though.
When it comes to fuel efficient vehicles expect to see Japan and Germany
leading the way. The US car industry is doing that well that the Ford brand
might well soon be a name of the past.

I think high impact injuries are too susceptible to emotive language, it
is a bit like that German rocket fighter, if you can turn a slightly
flawed landing into a thirty foot wide crater, one probably has the
right amount of excitement built into the design.
