In another thread, on budget day, I posted mid way through the Boring
Bill's presentation

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Bill English's 2013 budget is

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORING

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Intelligent people agree with that opinion. As evidence in today's
"The Press" on page A18 [18-05-13] there is an article by Tracy
Watkins entitled:-

BORING ENGLISH KNOCKING BOOKS INTO SHAPE

Budgets are. I liked the history lesson Key gave the fruit loops. Pity
they're like you and firmly entrenched in their stupidity.

The excitement all came after the budget, when we discovered that:
Funding for science and Research had dropped
Funding for Health has dropped n real terms
Funding for Private schools has increased, but total education funding

The government is increasing petrol prices - (excuse - because we are
low by world standards - that also applies to outr income tax rates .

The government is shutting out appeals in relation to payments for
carers - we criticised Fiji for similar authoritarian actions
The government is giving itself powers to override local government on
planning decisions - after all the authoritarian Nats know better than
local people what they want - and its worked out so well in
Christchurch having Csar Gerry . . .)
Debt continues to blow out
The whole budget is recessionary - National thinks we have had enough
growth.
The government has acted in bad faith regarding the MMP review
Mighty River shares were sold too cheaply - NZ is worse off in three
years time as a result of the sale price, $100 million of costs with
more to come for the subsidy, and only 2.5% of New Zealanders now own
what the country used to own. This government runds the country for
that top 2.5% . . .

Of course Labor would just have printed money and given billions away
as a bribe for next year..

You complain about National making 'real' cuts yet now your on about them
making handouts. Do make up what passes for your tiny mind Dickhead. You're
making less sense than usual. Hasn't the new programming taken yet?

Proof please Dickhead. This sounds like the usual smears we're getting used
to hearing from you and your Marxist muppet masters in Labour/Green.

English is not "getting the books in order". That's just the improving
economic situation, which is not controlled by him. (or any single party
or country). He's just taking credit for it (as all parties do).

I see. In that case why is Australia sinking into ever greater deficits as we speak?
