Do nothing to harm any prospect at reintroducing the
full unrestricted right-wing trickle down ideology!

The twiddle thumbs plan.

Don't worry, he's fueling and oiling the chainsaws ready for his second
term.

The Canadian finance minister says that a Tobin tax would be

Strange I thought a broad tax base would mean imply lower taxes from
other taxation streams! Of course Canadians should not raise taxes
by stealth, but that wasn't the question!

National are quite convinced at the necessity of a uniform tax rate
across different taxes. Which leads to a low taxation on income
if property and Tobin tax is added!

The IMF admit the need for some form of taxation of finance but
seem to hedging any tax regime must only fund 'insurance' of
financial collapse. The whole too big to fail with 'safety net'
just means a bigger collapse later on.

The sad fact is finance has been friction-less, you could
say room temperature super-conductive! The underlying assets
have inertia and entropy, so the over arching finance should
also match them if the markets were truly a reflection of
the business reality. It isn't. Efficient market analysis
does not say anything about the laws of physics, maybe it should.

Unfortunately governments do not hire natural economists, just
unnatural ones.

You'd rather have Labour screwing things up with draconian legislation that
achieves nothing while wassting millions on usless social engineering
projects?

Let the prick twiddle his thumbs. Most Kiwis seem to be agreeing with me:)

Not for much longer. Especially once Kiwi's realise that Australia went
into recession after us, and have left the recession behind, whilst New
Zealand, still stuck in recession, begs for the rich to gift their tax
cuts to charity..

Its now obvious the economic mismanagement by right wing ideologues!

The more a nation embraced trickle down economics
the deeper they have fallen into debt!

Its seem running the engine too hard and fast makes it
more in need of a good mechanic!

But what so we get from the right, silence, thumbs twiddling
in the dark, and nothing so much as a correction of their
trickle down policy. No mechanics need apply!

A trickle down policy they introduce because the trickle up
wasn't enough for rich people to make a living off!
