I bought a 1999 Serena from Turners auctions and I'm wondering if there's a
quick and easy way to remove one or both of the rear seats (for the odd
occasions I might want to carry something too bulky to go on the seats).
The seats slide on rails, and I had assumed it would likely be possible to
remove the rear stops and slide the seats fully rearwards and out of the
back door. Doesn't seem possible to do this though, unless I've missed
something.
Anyone have the answer?
Thanks,
John S
IIRC the rails don't slide apart - it's an unbolt only solution.
thanks - I was hoping there might be a simple solution. You'd think the
designers would have made it easy to just remove a rear stop and slide the
seat out the back!

I can think of a damn good reason why they wouldn't. (Hint: Safety.)
