I hear that Woolworths Browns Bay store is closing permanently on the
28th of September. I remember when it was one of the only supermakets
in the bay. It was Price Chopper for a few years too.

There is a big Foodtown there, run by the same people, and a New World.

What will they do with the building? Make it a Countdown?

Sunnynook Foodtown is still in chaos with alterations. It's taking a long
time. So much is out of stock.
The checkout system has been improved, and customers can now read their
purchases on a much clearer screen as they go through the checkout.
But be sure to check your docket for mistakes before leaving.

When will they signpost the toilets? I've walked all round that shopping
centre and still haven't been able to find them. What are mothers with small
children supposed to do?

Woolworths IS Countdown.

Woolworths here has been renamed Countdown.

So is it still going, and have Woolworths prices been changed to Countdown
prices at Browns Bay?

There is no countdown store in Browns Bay. The Woolworths store is
closing permanently and there will still be the larger Foodtown
accross the road.
