Shouldn't he be the person least frightened of letting nature take it's
course? Although consent may well not be an issue here.
What sort of god would make the pope suffer like this ?
A compassionate one of course - i.e. compassion for all those the Pope has
stuffed up!
What sort of god might not wish that he be spared for as long as
possible?
Given the harm that old fart has caused, maybe God is sending a
different type of message altogether.

But heaven is the ultimate goal, according to god, this earthly life a
mere platform along the way. Death and going to be with god the
absolute goal. So why would suffering on earth be better?
He gave consent, according to the radio.

Speaking medically now, there are very few frail Parkinsonian 84 year
olds that would be given a tracheotomy in this part of the world or the
UK. It would be thought a cruelty in their last days.
Who are the buggers that keep pushing this poor old man to live, rather
than letting him go to the place he's worked towards his whole life?
One of the worlds most driven communicators will find it hard, having no
voice.
Thinking as one does most days.
Dear doctor. Thank you for seeing Mr Wojtyla.
He needs urgent assessment and readmission. He has increasing stridor
and upper airway obstruction.
He is and 84yr old bachelor who lives in a hostel for men.
He was recently admitted with a chest infection, off legs and not coping
at home.
He has again become SOB again, with crackles in both bases. Increasing
stridor.
He also has terminal Parkinson's and OA.
A list of 16 meds is attached from the computer, some of which he still
takes.
Yours....
Obviously the Pope has done something to really piss God off big time. God
has had it in for that Pope for years.
Turning to modern medicine for help instead of to God, doesn't seem to be
very fitting for any real Pope to be doing.

Modern science and medicine developed for centuries under church
sponsorship. Doesn't that make it at least partly God's?
They wont be thinking of his needs so much as managing the
process and its form. Its almost certain that the Pope is,
or was complicit in this.

Isn't it unethical to release a patients details like that??

What sort of Pope would make God suffer like this?
And he knew he was getting better cause he waved at his doctors.

Perhaps he wanted to live a bit longer. Not everyone would rather die than
suffer.

He might find it even harder to give up and die when he still has some fight
left in him.

Is he staying in one of Mother T's hospices in a third world shithole
while nuns pray for him rather than give him proper medical treatment?
Or in a modern Rome hospital looked after by surgeons and teams of
nurses, specialists, and modern hi-tech medical equipment?

But what sort of flu requires a tracheotomy?
It's the year for it - first Arafat who couldn't die till his wife had
extracted some millions from the Palestine Authority; now Karol
Wojtyla, touch of flu, doing fine ...
Not if God is also responsible for fucking up the old bugger's life in the
first place.
God is hardly going to make him suffer and then help doctors to patch the
bugger back up.

But we mortals cannot comprehend the divine plan, so it is futile to

always other topics instead.
Anyway, back to the topic at hand: what if God put the Pope into this
situation to stimulate the next medical advance? It's evident now that
sacred scripture doesn't work for that kind of teaching.
And he was!

What about Fidel Castro? A broken leg just by tripping over?
As far as I'm aware, like all lifetime dictators, he has not 'groomed' a
successor as he thinks he'll live forever....
At least when he dies the cuban people wont have to listen to his 8 - 10

I wonder will it ever get up to speed with some sensilble practises instead
of the christian bias towards were are the only ones in heaven
He knows he has never spoken with a God and that there is no heaven / hell.
Well said sir. I find it sad so many actually believe in these imaginary
gods to the point of killing each other over them.
The pope is simply a fool who believes in fiction to the point of wasting
his life over it.
I could ask why Roger Rabbit eats strawberry jam and not marmalade on his
toast. Both are as factual and as interesting as each other.
Correct. God smells real bad.

Sounds like he was not describing his entire life but simply part of it.

Piss of you old f*****king mole troll and dickhead
Here we go again ... god this .. god that .. god almighty.. god god god
.....
When will you understand that fantasy should be given a wider berth?
Intolerance is the art of selectively controlling the masses. This pope
chappy should be executed for the amount of disharmony he creates.
I can't stand the wanker Tamaki. He abuses his children for money.
What is your reason for so blindly believeing whatever you read? God?
I suspect my dear RedBaitor that you have severe problems in life. If this
is the level of oyour communication abilities then I think it proves there
can be no Gods.
I will pray with you if you wish.

Goodness old chap! You have summed it up in one post. I feel this
RedBaitor character has such a sad life he tries to be "iconic" in these
messageboard postings. How else would such a poor excuse for a human animal
get his jollies?

I hate his child abusing ways.
Gracious me. What an intelligent statement. I am beginning to see a trend
in this chappy redbaitors posts. It cries for attention.
You make a wide assumption there. If you could stick to facts and not wild
nonsense it may help you follow what is actually being said.
Could you show us all where I suggest executing Tamaki? I said re the pope
NOT Tamaki. If you need to alter what is said to make an intelligent post
then you have failed at even that.
If you wish to respond at least respond with facts of what is said not
skewed to something different.
Gosh, such slow minds in a msg group do nothing.
Also I have not commented at all about my tolerance / intolerance, only that
of the pope. I happily admit I will not tolerate those who abuse others.
It would seem rather obvious that you need to get the life. I realise you
have thinking problems and can only try and make a name for yourself with
such rude nonsense but we can all see right through it my dear chap.
I can recommend some good mental health self help outfits for you if you
want.

Maybe he liked church until he was molested. Why do you have single
reasoning only? Is you daddy a molesting church preacher?
