Activist John Minto and four other protesters were arrested outside
the ASB Tennis Centre in Auckland today.
After police had given three warnings they stepped in to arrest Minto
and two other protesters and also confiscated their loud hailers.

Minto has a right to free speech. Trouble with "public" land such as
roads is that he is a part owner, and so we have to put up with the
maggot making a nuisance of himself.

He played a part in the downfall of apartheid in South Africa. So,
while he may possibly be a bastard, I don't think he's useless.

Many, looking dispassionately at the case, would consider that SA was
better off under the previous regime. I suspect that opinion will
become self evident fact. SA is heading in the same direction as
Zimbabwe. Black Africans are incapable of self government. Surely that
is self evident?

They shouldn't have confiscated the loud hailers, those are private
property. There should be no hindrance to their taking the loud hailers
away, providing they can walk and be decently trousered while carrying
them in a police-approved manner.

Neither of these are specific to the capability of black Africans,
though.

Also, you omit the effect of Western colonialism of the last couple of
centuries on Africa. Any incapability from that was imposed from
outside.

> and low average IQ.

LOL. Many years ago I read a science fiction story where a spaceman,
approaching a new planet, scanned it for intelligent life using his
Intelligent Life Detector. The author noted in an aside that he had
obtained the Intelligent Life Detector cheap from the inventor.
Apparently the Intelligent Life Detector didn't give high enough
readings for the inventor himself, so he sold it off as scrap and
invented a better one that worked properly. And quite right too! ...
what's the point of inventing things if they aren't going to
appreciate you properly?

True, but not necessarily due to the innate incapacity of black
Africans. After the 1991 collapse of the Soviet Union, the economy of
Russia took a nosedive too. The Russians are mostly white Europeans.

It is best not to deal with these factors in isolation.

Singapore and India survived, thew former doing very well. Pakistan has
not done so well although the only real distinction between norther
Indians and Pakistanis is religion, which is one aspect of culture.

Have you got a better explanation?

Russia recovered quickly enough. They still have the brains.

When early H sapiens moved out of Africa they moved into colder
environments which tended to select the brightest and most adaptable.
The Australoids managed to migrate through the tropics as far as
Australia leaving remnants of Veddoid, Sakai and other groups in India,
Ceylon, Malaya, etc. They did not achieve much either. Africa has
large mineral deposits, coal and oil. None of these were developed by
those left behind in Africa. They had the resources and raw materials
but were unable to do anything with them. The mines are beginning to
fail in South Africa because the blacks, even though they have been
shown how to do it, cannot run them. In Zimbabwe they cannot farm the
land even though they have taken over fully operational farms. Nothing
of note has been invented or developed by black Africans despite the
fact that they have been around longer than anyone else. Major
civilizations developed in many parts of the world while sub-Saharan
africans remained in an Upper Neolithic culture. Do not blame the
colonizers. The Africans had their chance for thousands of years but
did nothing with it.

The industrial revolution started in Europe, true. And white people
are indigenous to Europe, also true. But that's not enough to prove a
causal relationship. The Japanese, for example, are not white people,
but they have taken technology further than anyone else at the moment.

This is a grossly racist statement. The mines also failed in the UK,
but I guess you're not going to say that's due to the racial
characteristics of the English.

It is nothing to do with skin colour bozo. The east asians moved
further than anyone else and they have marginally higher IQs than whites.

I personally received no taxpayer funds for campaigning in the 2008
election, and to my knowledge neither did the Libertarianz Party. This
election we chose not to run TV advertising as the govt will not allow
political parties to do this unless they accept taxpayer funds. In
2005 Libz ran TV advertising paid for with taxpayer funds, which I
personally was against. As long as I'm its leader, the Libz Party will
not accept taxpayer funding.

Are you saying everyone that accepts taxpayer funding for their
election campaigning is a maggot? Do you feel the taxpayer should be
forced to fund political parties which he or she may not support? How
did you feel as a taxpayer in 2005 having to support Libz TV
advertising?

Tricky issue when the land he stands on is not privately owned. If the
amplified speech causes harm, he might be liable for the damage
caused. On privately owned land, the owner can tell him to sod off.

So when you wrote " Black Africans are incapable of self government"
you were not referring to skin colour? Sorry for misunderstanding
you. Maybe you meant black-hearted or something.

You have posted remarks that I call racist, yes. Skin colour has
nothing to do with it, as you wrote above.

Independent black African nations have tended to become tribalist
dictatorships once the influence of Western colonialism is removed.

I happened to enjoy Fleetwood Mac in the 70s, but I feel some sympathy
for those disturbed by loud music and other forms of noise pollution.
The problem, of course could be averted by the placing of covenants on
land at the time of subdivision that would prevent concert stadiums
being built near residential areas, etc.

Good point. The problem with Russia was largely breakdown of the rule
of law and massive corruption.

Yeah right - improvement for the small coterie of corrupt politicians

Merely distinguishing between africans who have never left Africa and
whites who have returned to live in Africa.

For me but not, apparently, for you.

You can call them racist if you like, but I have merely posted factual
comment. If you cannot cope with reality you should go and see a shrink.

What about Slander and Stalking of the Tennis player?
He had no right to target an individual surely.
Just like Tilly and Scooter target me being a Christian when they are
Jews.
I'd just as soon steer clear of both of them. I'd even skip Jewish
news items if they skipped my posts.
And the Jewish item held no bearing on New Zealand.
But if Tilly falls from the sky flirting with soft porn news items on
a group without that tripe since she went low key, that annoys.

No, just adapted to their environment as are others. White
indo-europeans would not do too well without modern technology in the
environment of the Australian aboriginals.
