Hi!
I was wondering if anyone could tell me their good/bad experiences with
ezysurf (www.ezysurf.co.nz) please.

Thanks

Robert

I've been on ezysurf for almost 2 months, for browsing they are just as good
as xtra or ihug or anybody else you may have used. Occasionally, they have
some speed hiccups, but they are normally resolved asap.
For the price i can do nothing but recommend them :)

I e-mailed them before their official startup date to tell them one of
their links was broken. It took them a good week to fix it and I never
heard back from them -- not even a fucking acknowledgment, never mind a
thank-you.

They sent an email to several NZ ISP's recently offering to buy their
customer bases.
trouble is, they only wanted to pay over 10 months and not nearly enough.
maybe they are having more trouble getting customers than they first
thought?

Hi!
I'm the one who originally posted the ezysurf question. Ezysurf is alot
faster then ihug for me. They have just over 60,000 newsgroups on their
newsgroup server. I usually get connected in about 20 seconds after clicking
connect, so I'm pretty happy with it.

Actually, if you look at the NNTP posting host, you'll find that
he is using his Ezysurf account to post that message. Ezysurf are
doing the same as Paradise and reading directly from Xtra's
news server.

Isn't the entire Ezysurf ISP just a branch of Xtra in drag?..a sort of no
frills Xtra offered in conjunction with some shopping chains. Or maybe I
have the wrong end of the stick

You could be right, went into Noel Leemings today, they have advertising for
Xtra everywhere next to non for their own service Ezysurf. Strikes me that
you would push your own product more than an opposing provider.
