I don't know about the groups but the linux counter person has lists of
users who have registered themselves. It can be found at
http://munken.uninett.no:29659/bycountry/NZ.html

The top of the page states:

Linux users in New Zealand (NZ)

This file generated: Tue Jan 21 17:42:52 MET 1997

Population: 3.388 million
Hostcount: 77886
Linux users: 158
Linux density: 46.64 users/million
Linux users per 1000 IP hosts: 2.03

Which is about as representative of Linux user's as Binary Bros NZ
User's Directory is for people with email addresses.

Which reminds me - how about everyone making such resources valueable?
You need not provide a hell of a lot of info about yourself, but an
email addr would be nice.

I don't know, but if anyone finds one (and they have a web site),
please ask them to get themselves listed in my list of user groups
on the web: http://www.apcug.org/others/ . Further off
that page (http://www.apcug.org/others/ugmisc.htm) is a list
of miscellaneous user groups including Linux -- some of them
have lists of user groups, whereas I only track the ones
with web pages.
