I've been a member of AllAdvantage since last December and
although I aren't making much money, I'm making more than enough
to pay my monthly flat rate Internet bill, so in effect I'm
getting free Internet access.

There was a small article on these paid 2 surf schemes in the
March 2000 issue of Consumer magazine. About AllAdvantage they
said "this isn't a pyramid scheme, as payments to you are not
dependent on your signing others up."

You know there are so so so many those get paid to surf, mail, click,
whatever... and it seems it's growing every day... - Found this web page
on the web, this has all the get paid to surf services listed - I think this
has got to do with "referral" thingy... so browse with care. so many of
them....
http://www.refercentral.com/hellweed

I saw few news group people refer them and claims that they have been paid
too! I mean I am one of many money hungry greedy shith**d, but, it makes me
think twice about those shit. you see, If they pay, and I join them up, even
one or two, it makes about NZ$50 with just few hours of Internet. what the
hack, what do I got to lose... On the other hand... It seems that those are
just scam and MLM schemes, and people are saying NO NO NO about it...

What I actually wanna know is any, your, opinion about those scams. I am not
looking for "no it is not right" without no reason. Look at I4free, aren't
they the same principal - of course without Multi level marketing scheme -
but, doing so well(?)

What do you think?

Even though, I said "I am not looking for "no it is not right" without no
reason" :) any of your opinions are very welcome and appreciated!!! Thanks
in advance, and please, assume that I am an idiot got no brain :).

There are a number of companies which in effect are hiring the top 3/4 inch of
your screen for advertising.
The intermediary company such as alladvantage, getpaid4 etc keep some of the
advertising income and pay the rest to the user. They vary between active
surfing only, payment for any internet activity, no requirement to click on ads,
to get paid only for clicking on ads. I have looked at several. Alladvantage is
the one I use while surfing, on my webpage and in my signature.
Proof of payment in NZ in $NZ can be seen in my signature. Good for people who
want to recoup some internet costs while they do a fair amount of surfing. No
good for people who only use the net for short periods.
The reduced browser space and continous ads put some people off.

TNT wrote:

> indirect Spamming..... :(

The companies have strong anti spamming policies ie bulk email and posting
adverts into non related newsgroups.
Guilty parties may get their accounts terminated.

Is that for one month or several months.
My cheque this month for a two month period will be $NZ72
That's for 25 hours surfing per month and a total of 10 referrals
New car, new house, overseas trip? Don't think so somehow.
Couple of dozen cans from the supermarket. That sounds more like it.

Cheers

You can reduce the level of distraction with the AllAdvantage viewbar
by turning off "Show Pictures" in the Internet control panel applet.
This of course disables graphics in IE, so you will need to use
Netscape to browse properly...

Ok well Alladvantage.com say they send out cheques between the 20-30th of
each month if your acct. is over $40 in your currency.Mine is definitely
over that and I am still waiting for the last 2 months worth in a
cheque.....
P.S. Anyone been paid yet?

I received my first cheque on March 20.

Keep in mind that the payments sent out between the 20th and
30th of the month are for your PREVIOUS month's balance (if it
was over $40).
