IRC Undernet ???

Hi, I've been having troubles trying to connect to the undernet server,
has anyone else had any trouble, the message is
*** Connecting to auckland.nz.undernet.org (6667)
*** Unable to connect to IRC server
The only IRC server I can Connect to is irc.ihug.co.nz and thats sad :((

I have no problem myself connecting to the server.
Do you get any further reason like say "Unable to resolve local
host"?

The server appears to be down.
So I tried connecting to irc.xtra.co.nz - no luck their either... so
I tried www.xtra.co.nz in my browser - no response. Conclusion Xtra
is down too!
irc.ihug.co.nz didn't work for me, but while I was at it I tried
www.ihug.co.nz and ftp.ihug.co.nz. The web site was very fast, the
ftp site average-ish.
I also tried looking at Clear Net, tucows at sinesurf, and windows95.com.
All worked fine.
Wonder what's up with the Auckland undernet server, and I wonder what has
happened to the whole of Xtra?

Well I found out 2 hours later that the Netway was down and the only
people that could access the Undernet is Auckland IHUGers Only :(

Actually I find I can't connect to the ICONZ server either. It comes
back with "Use your real ID" even though the same ID connects to all
the US.Undernet servers that don't tell ya to use
auckland.nz.undernet.org.
Personally I use auckland.nz.chatnet.org much more now.

I have had no problem at all last week and over the weekend.
Perhaps I got the times it was up?

It was about 2am one morning that it couldn't be accessed.
