ADMIN: Future of nz.biz.misc

and Jeremy Bowen from moderating nz.biz.misc .
I would like to publicly thank Miraz and Jeremy for their hard work for
several years in moderating the newsgroup. The job has been very unsung ,
unglamorous and not a lot of fun. Both have however worked hard and
efficiently on it for many years.
Thank you both for a job very well done.
With the resignations of Miraz and Jeremy there are no longer any active
moderators of nz.biz.misc. The options now appear to be either deleting
the group of find a new moderation team. Jeremy has offered to continue
moderating for a short time while this is sorted out.
Could people please post to nz.net.admin their opinions as to the future
of nz.biz.misc either with it's current or a revised moderation policy. If
there is a general opinion in favor of keeping the group *and* at least
two or three people come forward to volunteer as moderators we'll keep the
group otherwise it'll be removed.

Since I've only had one person offer to moderate and little other interest
in keeping the group I'll shut down the moderation addresses tonight and
remove the group shortly.
