Feedback from Data Champions Conference

Kia Ora,

Thanks heaps for those of you who came to the conference a couple of weeks ago.

A few quick things...

I've collated the feedback from people and put this here:

I will be emailing the individual presenters later today with feedback on their sessions.

A few things that came up that are worth noting:

• A few people asked if they were able to go and visit other schools... I'm sure most people would be more than happy to have visitors... if you need the contact information for anyone please do let me know and I'm more than happy to connect you (we are always open to having visitors at Kāpiti College as well)... same goes for the presenters emails, if you didn't manage to copy them down at the time, please ask, and more than happy to help.
• There were a few requests also for more hands-on and smaller sessions to be run between now and the next conference... I think this would be great... If you're willing to offer something, chuck it up on the group, and see if people want to come... I'll be putting one up soon.

On a side note... Mark and I didn't really introduce ourselves properly at the start of the conference... sorry about that... for those that were asking, we are just two teachers (I'm an AP, and Mark is an ex-DP and now Head of Maths) who care about data and thought it would be great to get people together and sharing what we are all doing.
