The following hardware is needed for the next generation of Nyx:

I believe the heatsink/fan issue has been dealt with; can we get an
update on what is still needed? Specifics on the U/W cables--pin count,
number of connectors, length?

Nyx can use

--fastpage DIMMS and almost any kind of memory.
-- network cards of any age
-- hard drives 4 meg or bigger
-- reference materials on Linux, books or CD
