My name is John Woods, and I am writing to appeal to the good hearted people
of the world.
Late last month, eastern Sydney was struck by a fierce hail storm with hail
stones larger than base-balls. Over three-hundred million dollars of damage
was cause. Many families had their homes and cars damaged. Alot of homes
and businesses were destroyed. It looks like a war zone.

Distribution of funds is to those people who need the help having their
homes rebuilt. Those who were not insured due to financial constraints of
the family budget. Besides, it gives you a great feeling when you can walk
up to a total stranger who has lost most everything, and say to them, "Here
have a thousand to rebuild the family home. It is a free gift from a friend
overseas."
